Hey. If you're wondering about the opening line I think it's a quote from someone. It's a joke about pretentious people anyway. I'm not pretentious. I don't particularly like pretentious people. However, if you're an unpretentious guy who just happens to ride Arabian horses and/or work on antique cars, we can talk - just be forewarned that I won't have any early childhood pony stories to share with you...and if that's all you want to talk about, it probably won't be a very long conversation. I love to talk about anything and everything, but I most enjoy the company of men who can carry on an intelligent conversation (which may or may not feature ponies - entirely up to you).

I'm a grad student in the social sciences, but I'm not necessarily looking for someone in my field. I have a lot of curiosity and many different subjects interest me. I'm an honest, caring person with a great sense of humour. I absolutely love comedies (especially the ridiculous ones that no one admits to liking - those are the ones I have on DVD). I love all kinds of movies really - action, drama, comedy, etc, but no horror films, which I find disturbing. I love all kinds of music too. I hope to one day play the piano (you know, to keep myself grounded). Oh yeah, and I've been told I'm pretty smart too. The fact that I'm in grad school may or may not have been a clue, depending on who you know.
